Westmeria Counselling Services Charity Golf Day 2013
Held at Camden Place, Chislehurst Golf Club – once home of Napolean III, in 1870’s
As this is the year of the charity’s 10th Anniversary we want to make this a Golf Day to remember!
Please advise whether you wish to participate and complete the booking form. Kindly also let us know whether you would like to sponsor a hole (details below), a cup or a prize or donate something for the auction.
Order of the day:
10.30 – 11am Breakfast
Putting competition following breakfast
12.30 – 13.15 18 holes will start from 3 start points 18.00 Drinks 18.30 Round off the day with a 2 course dinner and the all important prize giving
We have an exciting auction with 10+ items for you along with a raffle.

£85 individual entry
£320 for a 4 ball
£400 for a 4 ball and to sponsor a hole*
£100 to sponsor a hole or £300 for 6 holes*

This will be presented to the highest scoring Individual stableford score
1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to be confirmed.
The Imanii cup sponsored by David Francis will be awarded to the highest stableford scoring team along with prizes to be confirmed.
Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin trophies – sponsors to be confirmed along with the number of hole designated.

Should you be kind enough to sponsor something for our day please provide us with any literature, logo and marketing materials you have, which we will be happy to put in the brochure in the evening and advertise to all the golfers in the pre-day e-mail. You are welcome to bring any pop-up stands to the day which we can further advertise your commitment to the charity. Your name/company name would be on the hole you choose to sponsor. A pre-dinner drink for your team.

Anyone who is finding life really difficult and looking for help to gain an understanding as to why. However strong we are there will be times when things are hard to cope with and we may need help to sort out a particular problem or crisis. Though a collaborative partnership it is our aim to help people strive towards autonomy and to live and manage their lives independently.
We do not tend to work with those who require specialised help for example, drug and alcohol addiction, eating disorders, self-harming, suicide ideation, long-term psychiatric problems and those in counselling elsewhere.
There are times when we all need a little help…
We are primarily a voluntary organisation, serving the local community. We were established in 2003 to help people in crisis, or just in need of support, with a particular emphasis on those suffering from depression. It is our aim to reverse the trend of reliance on anti-depressants.
We are a small organisation who rely on lots of help from everyone to keep going and if you would like to help us, please go on to our donations page to see how you could do that. We are based in Bickley and our counselling team takes on clients from a wide range of surrounding areas including Bromley, Penge, Beckenham, Chislehurst, Mottingham, and Petts Wood.
Each session lasts for 50 minutes. We are a longer term agency with an upper limit of 24 sessions after your initial appointment. We are a unique service, requiring no set fee from our clients for counselling sessions provided. We do however, like to encourage clients to donate a little something towards their sessions – viewing this as a valuable commitment.
The key is that our service is both affordable and accessible. We receive no funding whatsoever from the local PCT, or government, so client donations provide an opportunity to go on to help others.
We gained charity status in September 2005 which has helped enormously by allowing us to start to fundraise. Westmeria counselling service has already helped over 1500 people since starting out and we plan to help many more people in the future.
Here at Second Chance its a very special day for us. It’s our 1st Birthday since the grand opening of our shop. We can’t believe its been a year today since we started our venture – opening a small charity shop in a local area, raising awareness and supporting people with anxiety and depression. 
To celebrate this occasion we are having a raffle with some fantastic prizes including, our first prize containing a Luxury Pamper Basket with a Large Bottle of Bubbly & our second prize including a Pamper Basket with a range of Traditional Gifts. Its only 20p per ticket or £1 per strip! All money helps to support Second Chance charity, run by Westmeria Counselling Service.
To coincide with our celebration we also have a Half-Price Sale on all Ladies, Mens & Children’s clothing. Tea & cake is also available in store.
