Here at Second Chance its a very special day for us. It’s our 1st Birthday since the grand opening of our shop. We can’t believe its been a year today since we started our venture – opening a small charity shop in a local area, raising awareness and supporting people with anxiety and depression. 
To celebrate this occasion we are having a raffle with some fantastic prizes including, our first prize containing a Luxury Pamper Basket with a Large Bottle of Bubbly & our second prize including a Pamper Basket with a range of Traditional Gifts. Its only 20p per ticket or £1 per strip! All money helps to support Second Chance charity, run by Westmeria Counselling Service.
To coincide with our celebration we also have a Half-Price Sale on all Ladies, Mens & Children’s clothing. Tea & cake is also available in store.

At the start of July, Second Chance attended this years Charity Retail Conference and Exhibition held at Keele Conference Park, Staffordshire. Where over 340 charity delegates attended the Conference, representing 140 charities. Speakers and experts from across the sector collaborated to deliver a valuable and challenging programme of sessions, sharing new ideas and best practice.
Here at Second Chance we had the honour of winning a Bursary place at the Conference. We would like to thank Choice on behalf of this award.
We hope this will help us lead to new and exciting possibilities for our charity shop, Second Chance. Supporting Westmeria Counselling Services, helping people to live independently.
Here at Second Chance our staff, combined with the staff of Westmeria Counselling Service, are putting ourselves through this year’s Spartan Race to raise money for Westmeria Counselling Services, because we believe in their amazing work.
This is the services 10th Anniversary and the CEO’s 50th birthday year so she has talked us into making fools of ourselves whilst raising money for an amazing charity.
This 5k race is comprised of mud runs, obstacles, trail racing, physical challenges and mental challenges all in a 3+ miles / 15+ obstacles race. So please please sponsor us so we feel worthwhile humans!!!

Here at Second Chance we have a wide range of friendly staff and enthusiastic volunteers, that will help you find what you want and cater to your needs. In our shop we sell a variety of different simmering granules, incense sticks, oils, oil burners and ash catchers, to name a few. Come and visit our store today!
